In September 2009, Rich and Mick are planning to play the following games:

  1. Padawans in the Outer Rim – a Dogs in the Vineyard hack run by Rich, where we’ll be playing a team of late-Clone-War-era Jedi Padawans on a mission without their tutors around to dispense wisdom and guidance. We’ve loosened up the Star Wars canon in several ways to suit our tastes and also determined that the future-canon  is wide open depending on how our fiction plays out. (I will therefore be killing JarJar Binks before he casts the deciding vote to suspend the Republic – and also merely because he’s JarJar Binks. Just sayin’.) This series will include Arnold Cassell and Chris Norwood along with Rich and me.  -  Mick
  2. The Firedrake Saga – I’m still planning to push more sessions of our ongoing Swashbucklers of the 7  Skies campaign, once we’ve got the whole crew ready for action. This group includes Chuck Hedden, Daniel Perez, Rich and me. (Chris Norwood continues to have an open invitation, although he hasn’t played S7S with us yet as of this writing.)
  3. In the absence of having a full complement of Firedrake crew at the table, Rich will be prepared with a playtest version of his game-in-development Making the Bigs, where we portray 1950s-era minor-league baseball players struggling both on and off the field to realize our dreams of getting into the Big Leagues.
