Bi-annual RPG Podcast Round-up from Gaming Brouhaha
Wherin M.J. Harnish calls it like he sees it, including giving a nice bit of love to Canon Puncture. But beyond the obvious self-congratulatory excuse for sharing a listener’s ‘no-brainer’ love for us, I really appreciate the way M.J. explains his rationale for each mini-review. I’ve never listened to some of the shows on his list, so I can’t speak to those, but I find his analysis pretty spot-on for most of the shows I DO listen to (or HAVE listened to). And in any case, whether you agree or disagree with his ultimate choices on what to listen to and what to drop, you get a pretty good feel for each show’s flavor by reading his thoughts.
As a semi-related side note, we’re taking a short break from doing our overview of noteworthy RPG blog & forums for a few weeks while we present a series of interview/chat shows that we recorded at recent conventions. But once we gear up the show’s normal format again, I think we’re probably going to expand our scope a bit and not only call out noteworthy blogs and forum discussions, but also anything else we find useful to share in the arena of play-centric ideas and experiences – including stuff we hear on other podcasts.
